Mesilla
Valley Film Society at the Fountain Theater
Mesilla, New Mexico
Universal Signs screened to a SOLD OUT crowd on
Saturday, Sept 12, at 1.30 PM, presented by the Mesilla Valley
Film Society
at the Fountain Theatre, sponsored by he Mountain View Market.
Here is what one fan reported:
"I attended the SOLD-OUT screening at The
Fountain Theatre. No advance tickets were sold but the theatre
was full to capacity shortly after the doors opened. The audience
was all ages (teens through seniors) and about 80% deaf and hard
of hearing and 20% hearing. This film really had everyone talking
and sharing their favorite moments long afterwards.
So much so, it was hard to clear out the theatre for the next
film. Rave reviews from everyone I spoke to, specifically to
the story line and the natural realistic signing. This screening
was a tremendous success, both for the theatre and for deaf awareness.
From everyone at the showing today comes a huge THANK YOU to
all involved in the making of this film.."

Lots
of LOVE at the Keswick Theatre for the Universal Signs Premiere -
May 30, 2009
Philadelphia proved to be the city of brotherly LOVE even outside the city
borders. With cheers and enormous praise, audiences embraced the message
of Universal Signs at the World Premiere on Saturday, May 30th,
2009. The Keswick Theatre was the perfect venue for this "new meets
old" film.
The audiences loved the timeless message of love, forgiveness, and connection. Universal
Signs is
a film whose message's time has arrived. Hope, Forgiveness, and not being
afraid to take the necessary steps toward reclaiming your life is the core
message of this beautiful film. We are incredibly thankful to our loyal
fans and love all of the NEW fans we made on Saturday. THANK YOU for your
love and support of this little film. It is a grassroots effort for [US].
Please tell your friends and friends of friends until this message reaches
across the USA and around the world! We need You! Thank you!

Ernest C. Drury School, Milton, ON, May 22, 2009
Anthony Natale is a
graduate of the ECD school in Milton, Ontario. As we were in Ontario
for the TIDFAF, the school invited us to screen the film for their students. "The
students were simply bubbling," exclaimed Cindy Smith, principal
of the school. The students greatly enjoyed the film and meeting Anthony,
one of their own who has been so successful in Hollywood. The students
interviewed Ann Calamia, Catherine Miller, and Anthony Natale for the
school's TV station. Allison, the student reporter, was excellent! She
asked so many thoughtful and insightful questions. She is one to watch
for the future, and we hope to see her on the news one day! Thank you
to ALL of the students, teachers, administration and staff for welcoming
Universal Signs! We appreciate your love of the film and kindness to
us. You mean so much!
