In the four years that Ashlyn Sanchez has been in the entertainment business,
she has accomplished a lot for such a young person. Most notably, Ashyln landed
a supporting role as Michael Peña’s daughter in Paul Haggis’,
Academy Award-winning film, Crash.
At the age of six, Ashlyn decided that she wanted to be an actress after seeing
the stage production of The Lion King. She left begging her mother
for a life on the stage. Soon Ashlyn and her mother secured an agent, and she
was on her way to bringing her dream to fruition.
Ashlyn immediately booked national commercials for Cannon, GMC, Life Cereal,
McDonald’s, MCI and Comedy Central. Ashlyn has also been seen on co-starring
roles on WB’s Charmed, ABC’s Alias, and CBS’s CSI.
Ashyln also played Jimmy Smits’ daughter in her recurring
role on The West Wing. Ashlyn stars in M. Night
Shyamalan's latest film, The
Happening released June, 2008.
When not performing, Ashlyn enjoys reading, writing, sewing, and building
forts in her backyard. She hopes to continue acting and to become a veterinarian.
